Namibians invited to show support for Rugby World Cup Squad

The Namibian rugby public will have a final opportunity to show their support for the national team when the entire squad will travel through the streets of the capital in a send-off extravaganza on Tuesday morning the 15 th of September. The parade will start at 07h30 Tuesday morning at Kosmos 94.1 and will end around 09h00 at Kosmos 94.1. The World Cup group will say farewell to the nation by kicking signed rugby balls into the crowds who are expected the line the route. This unique event will allow Namibians the opportunity to show their support to the team who will represent the country at the 2015 Rugby World Cup. The Namibian team will depart for London via Johannesburg later that afternoon.

The Namibian Rugby Union, Kosmos 94.1, the City Police, M & Z Motors, The Office Economics Group, Absolute Logistics, NG Church Eros and Pick a Pay would like to invite the public to be part of this send-off extravaganza.

The farewell extravaganza will start at Kosmos 94.1 at 07h30 on Tuesday 15 th September 2015 and the farewell route will be Robert Mugabe , left into Jan Jonker right down to Independence Ave, down Independence Ave, left again in Bahnhof Street, left into Mandume Ndemufayo, left into Toivo Ya Toivo Street, left into Robert Mugabe again and right into Peter Muller Street where it will end up again at Kosmos 94.1 at 09h00. Bibles will be handed over to the World Cup group by Dr. Fourie van den Berg from the NG Church Eros.
