On Saturday evening the Namibian team was hosted by ACS Cobham - a Private school that every year sends 20 learners to Namibia where they take part in an exchange program at Kutenhaus Primary School in Berseba. The school has fantastic facilities and really went out of their way to make Team Namibia feel at home.
It has been a busy 4 days for Namibia since they arrived in London last Wednesday. On Friday evening they visited Cobham RFC where they watched the opening match of RWC 2015. Cobham RFC has been fantastic hosts and their hospitality is greatly appreciated by the Namibian team.
Davies happy with Namibia’s progress.
Namibia Head Coach Phil Davies has expressed his satisfaction with his team’s progress since arriving in London 4 days ago. Namibia have a rest day on Sunday before they will start with their final preparations in the build up to Thursday evening’s Pool C match against New Zealand in London.
“The players and the management have settled in very quickly, it has a been really good, the boys have trained very well, they have been enthusiastic and focussed. The hotel has been fantastic, the facilities and hospitality at Cobham are great and it has been an excellent four days actually,” said Davies.
