Namibia arrived at London Heathrow early Wednesday morning and then traveledto their base in Cobham, Surrye where they will continue with their preparations on Thursday. Theuns Kotzè and David Philander share their views.

Namibia have arrived in London - fantastic reception and extremely well organized. After a short drive from Heathrow the team settled into their hotel, Woodlands Park in Surrey where team manager Wessel Kotzè introduced the players to the TLO's who will be with us for the next couple of weeks.

Namibian Fans in the UK planning on traveling to Heathrow for the team's arrival please note. The team will not be arriving in the usual arrivals hall - the organizers have made arrangements for the players to be received in a different area from where they will be taken by bus straight to their hotel. We appreciate your support but would not want you to go through all the trouble only to be disappointed.

Support for Rugby World Cup Squad

Namibians invited to show support for Rugby World Cup Squad

The Namibian rugby public will have a final opportunity to show their support for the national team when the entire squad will travel through the streets of the capital in a send-off extravaganza on Tuesday morning the 15 th of September. The parade will start at 07h30 Tuesday morning at Kosmos 94.1 and will end around 09h00 at Kosmos 94.1. The World Cup group will say farewell to the nation by kicking signed rugby balls into the crowds who are expected the line the route. This unique event will allow Namibians the opportunity to show their support to the team who will represent the country at the 2015 Rugby World Cup. The Namibian team will depart for London via Johannesburg later that afternoon.
