As a son of a Namibian rugby legend, Eneill Buitendag will be aiming to continue the family tradition at Rugby World Cup 2015. Eneill is the son of Basie Buitendag, a former Namibian international who played 22 times for Namibia between 1990 and 1993 and for the Blue Bulls in South Africa. Following in his father's footsteps, Eneill represented Namibia at senior Craven Week level. After school he studied BA Sports Science at the University of Stellenbosch and also played for Maties and the Western province under-19 team. His debut for Namibia came against Russia in 2010. Buitendag featured in three of Namibia’s matches at the Rugby World Cup qualification tournament in Madagascar last year. He has 13 caps for Namibia and works as a Broker's Consultant in Windhoek.
